When we undertake to breed a litter, we do so first for ourselves. After we have decided which pup(s) we will retain, there may be availability in the litter. We also may have older puppies, teenagers, young adults available to qualified show homes or companion/performance homes.
For inquiries outside of the USA, we request that you make a trip to our home to meet us and our dogs before we send a dog out of the country.
In forty-plus years of participating in conformation events by Susan and her family members,
Solivia has averaged one homebred litter of Pointers per year and produced around 200 champions.
Our homebred puppies have a fantastic start and have been born, raised, socialized, trained and live
at one of four Solivia Kennels households,
either Susan's home or one of three of her daughters' households: Katey, Claire or Hayley.
We usually place any female that will not be spayed on a co-ownership.
As a result, we have also co-bred some litters that were not born with us.
These co-bred litters are generally also seen on our website or Facebook page
as we help their primary breeders place the puppies in well-qualified homes.
We also help find homes for litters not bred or co-bred by us
but sired by a dog we bred, as we want to ensure
all these puppies/dogs have good homes.
We occasionally have a puppy, teenager or young adult available to a pet home as a lovely sofa accessory and walking companion.
A good, loving home is our foremost concern, regardless of interest in showing.
